EDUCATION CALENDAR

WBA offers a number of executive level programs designed for CEOs, bank directors, CFOs and executive officers. Annual events include the WBA/WFL Bankers Convention held in June at various venues throughout the Pacific Northwest, a CEO/Bank Directors Conference in December, and periodic bank director programs coordinated with the regulatory agencies. WBA also works in cooperation with Oregon Bankers Association (OBA) in co-sponsoring the Northwest Bank Directors College, which is offered every other year in Washington State. WBA also supports in-house training efforts for banks wanting to train their own bank directors in areas of strategic planning, compliance and audit.

WBA/WFL BANKERS CONVENTION

Bank presidents, senior managers, correspondent bankers, fast-track young bankers, and industry vendors convene yearly at the annual WBA/WFL Bankers Convention. Educational speakers, networking sessions, sports activities, and social events add interest to the annual meeting and policy-making sessions of the convention.
